Fresh off of graduating college in 1998 at the ripe old age of 22, Bryan entered the financial services industry as a licensed advisor with New England Financial in Wayne, Pennsylvania. A few stops and several designations, with 20+ years of experience Bryan and his partners founded High Point Financial, LLC., a comprehensive financial advisory firm with state-of-the-art technology and a dedication to top notch client service.
High Point Financial has a saying, “Work hard, be humble and do the right thing.” Bryan and his partners apply this both in the office with clients and at home with family.
Bryan and his family reside in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania where he does a little fishing, golfing, and enjoying time with his family.
David has built his career developing personal, long-term relationships with Physicians and their families by assisting them through the challenging financial decisions they are faced with throughout their career. Throughout his career, he has learned exactly what it takes to specialize in guiding them from residency through retirement. He respects and understands the extreme dedication and time it takes to become a practicing physician and has developed an approach that reduces their time spent on managing financial affairs.
Dave knows that it’s easy to get lost in all of the financial information out there and that there is a serious lack of financial education provided to medical professionals. His main goal is to make sure his clients are educated, organized, and avoiding mistakes. It’s common to get stuck in bad habits and he tackles these from the get-go.
David’s passion stems from working with his older brother as he transitioned through residency, to fellowship, and into practice as an anesthesiologist. He and thousands of other physicians are faced with tremendously long hours, mountains of student loan debt, a rigorous transition year upon graduation, and plenty of crucial financial management decisions to consider. He learned firsthand from his brother’s experience the shortfalls of financial education in the medical world. David knows how challenging it is to balance the requirements of becoming a medical professional with concerns around paying back debt, protecting future income, protecting against taxes, and savings for future goals. His consulting process and technology platform make it easy to organize personal financial affairs, and he helps clients with all of their personal finance needs through his strategic partnerships with outside professionals such as accountants, attorneys, employers, mortgage brokers, etc.
If you work with David, you can expect a friendly, laid back, and educational experience. He is always looking for opportunities to improve his clients’ overall financial picture. Expect him to listen intently and ask many questions to make sure he understands exactly what you have done in the past and are looking to accomplish going forward. David enjoys being outdoors and staying active by snowboarding in the winter, rock climbing at his local rock gym, hunting and fishing at his father’s farm property in south central PA, and spending time down in OCNJ with his family. He is currently married to his wife Lauren who works at CHOP as a CRNA. They live in Malvern with 3 fun loving cats.
After graduating from Haverford School and Bucknell University with a B. S. degree in Business Administration, Jim Nesbitt founded Nesbitt Associates, an independent sales and marketing company specializing in the office products industry
As president, Jim was responsible for the company’s overall financial management, sales and sales management, strategic planning, technology implementation, staff training and development and marketing. He also played a key role in developing long-term business relationships with key vendor and reseller partners. Jim sold his company in 2000.
In 2001 Jim entered the Financial Services Industry and began his new career as a Financial Planner.

With 15 years of experience as a Financial Planner, Jim and his partners started High Point Financial LLC. located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

Jim lives with his wife Peggy and has four children, Jamie, Cameran, Corey, and Rory. He’s an avid golfer, but not very good.
Bryan began his professional career at Vanguard after graduating from Bloomsburg University with a degree in Political Economics. Bryan worked toward becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM professional within the first 3 months of his career to be prepared for even the most obscure personal finance questions. He ultimately delivered thousands of financial planning consultations in his nine years at Vanguard before moving to Fidelity’s Center City Investment Center, where he was an Account Executive for two years.
Starting his career at two large and respected financial institutions not only helped Bryan develop his financial planning knowledge, but also provided him with a deep appreciation for the value in low-cost investing. He believes that cost is one of the most critical factors in successful, long-term investing. As a self-described personal finance nerd and lifelong learner, Bryan is constantly looking for new opportunities to enhance his skills and improve the financial lives of his clients. In 2021, Bryan enhanced his education further by obtaining the Certified Investment Management Analyst TM designation through an educational program with Penn Wharton School of Business and the Investments & Wealth Institute.
Bryan and his partners created High Point Financial with the goal of offering their clients an independent and fresh approach to financial advice. Although providing education, a strong process, and robust software system for financial planning are important to Bryan, he also firmly believes that financial advice should be more relaxed and educational. He would prefer a meeting outdoors wearing jeans to a meeting inside a fancy conference room wearing a suit. As a consultant, he considers listening to be the most important factor in successful, long-term relationships and aims to make working together warm, friendly, and inviting.

Balance is central in Bryan’s life and he always looking for opportunities to encounter his next adventure. He is a #girldad, with three amazing daughters. Identical twins Hailey and Madelyn and youngest Parker are his daily inspiration. Bryan has too many hobbies to count, but most are based in exercise and the outdoors. Whether it is hiking, biking, golfing, disc golfing, or camping, Bryan is always on the move. One of his most treasured moments was running the Chicago Marathon for the Michael J Fox Foundation. That said, Bryan is also a craft beer and bourbon snob who cannot stop listening to podcasts. Malcolm Gladwell, Brené Brown, and the Investopedia Express are some of his favorite hosts and shows. Bryan is very involved in his community of Upper Providence. He serves as the Education Director for the 422 Business Alliance, sponsors the Minors field for Upper Providence Little League, and sponsors a teacher each quarter in the local community magazine “Upper Providence Living.”
Kim joined High Point Financial in January 2018 as the Client Relationship Manager. Kim provides all office activity, compliance and transaction support for the four Partners in support of the clients. Kim holds a BA from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA.
Prior to joining High Point Financial, Kim was with Keller Williams Real Estate for 6 years where she led compliance and supported 2 sales agents.
Kim currently resides in Royersford, PA with her 2 children. She and her children are active in hockey and lacrosse. She enjoys school and travel sports, spending time with family and friends, and staying active. Kim has been the Secretary on the Board of Spring-ford Ice Hockey Club for the past eight years.
